By downloading, installing, or using OctoPass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
OctoPass is a local-only password management application that allows you to generate, store, and manage passwords for various online accounts. All data is stored exclusively on your device. The app includes a password generator, a secure local vault for storing credentials, and automatic password rotation reminders.
OctoPass stores all data locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud storage, and no server-side data. You are responsible for backing up your device data. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all stored passwords.
You agree to use OctoPass only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
While OctoPass provides tools to generate and manage passwords, you are ultimately responsible for the security of your accounts and your device. We recommend using a device lock and regularly updating your passwords. The app provides 60-day automatic rotation to help keep your passwords fresh.
OctoPass is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Since data is stored locally, we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, theft, or app uninstallation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OctoPass and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or unauthorized access to your accounts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the app. Continued use of OctoPass after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
